Project under the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Ministry of Fisheries, Aquatic Resources & Christian Affairs.
Government of Sri Lanka has initiated a Project to acquire necessary data for the preparation of its claim on extended Continental Margin to be subimitted to the UN.

Delimitation of the Outer Edge of the Continental Margin of Sri Lanka under the "UNCLOS" (DEOCOM) is the proposed project where Ministry of Foreign Affairs has the overall responsibility for the Implementation of the project and the Ministry of Fisheries, Aquatic Resources and Cristian Affairs to act as the lead Focal Ministry.
